SLES12 and SMT

Hi,

I use SMT to update/upgrade and register my SLES11-Hosts. Now we want to
setup the first SLES12. Can we use our SMT in the same way as source of
patch and install repos and to proxy the registration?

Or dit we need to buy SUSE Manager for at all ~15 hosts?

Yes you can use the same SMT server to handle both SLES11 and SLES12 hosts.

However you do need to make sure your SMT server is set up to talk to
the SUSE Customer Center (SCC) not the Novell Customer Center (NCC) of
old. See TID 7015836[1].

Note that if Micro Focus Open Enterprise Server (OES) is in the mix you
will need to serve those hosts from SMT still talking to NCC.

No.
