SP3 available in SUSE Mgr

Does anyone know when SP3 will be available for SUSE Mgr ? Completed a refresh this morning and it hasn’t show up yet.

Hi
I have refreshed, seen it, added/synced and installed SP3 systems…

refreshed 3 times - still nothing. I’ll patch the suse mgr server, reboot and see if that works.

Thanks

yup - needed a spacewalk update - once completed it showed up.

Hi
Yes, that may need doing since there is a schema update

The update to enable SLES 12 SP3 in SUSE Manager is a bit larger than usual.
It brings

  • enablement of SLE 12 SP3 client systems
  • enablement of SLE 12 SP3 for the SUSE Manager Server
  • upgrade to PostgreSQL 9.6

The respective patches are currently being QAed and should be available by end of month.

Hi
I’m assuming this is for the upgrade of SuMA 3.1 base OS to SLES 12 SP3 via a ‘zypper migration’?

Yes. SUSE Manager 3.1 Server base OS will be migrated to SLES 12 SP3 with the next maintenance update.

Hi
Looks like the upgrade to SP3 is out… migration underway…

I had to first update, do a schema upgrade etc, reboot the system, do
another zypper up, then the migration to SP3 was available.
