Subscribe RHEL-7 to SUMA-3.1

Hi Team,

We have followed below link in order to connect SUMA to Redhat CDN.

https://www.suse.com/documentation/suse-best-practices/pdfdoc/sbp-sumaforrhel/sbp-sumaforrhel.pdf

When we are trying to create bootstrap script for RHEL using command “mgr-create-bootstrap-repo -c reponame” we are getting error. On running “mgr-create-bootstrap-repo -l” the corresponding repo is not showing in the list.

Can anyone help here on this point, How can we move forward by adding RHEL-7 system into SUMA?

Thanks in advance!!

Are you literally using the command “mgr-create-bootstrap-repo -c
reponame” or are you replacing reponame with the appropriate repository
name?

What is the error you are receiving?

Hi,

Thanks for reply.

I synced redhat 7 channel directly from CDN.I am not able to generate repository.

I also used command “mgr-create-bootstrap-repo -c rhel7server” command to create repo but it says “‘rhel7server’ not found”.

Please find attachment.

mgr-create-bootstrap-repo works on ‘distributions’, not on ‘repositories’.
Run

mgr-create-bootstrap-repo -l

to list available distributions.
