I need to install updates for SUSE 12 SP3 need to update security patches.
is the subscription expiry related to the update?
if that how to renew the subscription ?

Hi and welcome to the Forum :slight_smile:
General support for SLE 12 SP3 ended on 30 Jun 2019, so if the system was updated before that, unlikely to see any others…? If you want to stick with SP3, then would need to look at LTSS support or upgrade through SP4 to SP5.

In either case you would need to contact your local SUSE Sales to renew subscription for access to the online repositories…
