We have been operating SLES on z since SLES 9.
We usually have a golden image and we create subsequent Linux VMs by using flashcopy on VM.
While I was reading the deployment guide for SLES 15 SP4, it says SUSE no longer recommend cloning machines. But they say if one wants to clone they can run ‘clone-master-cleanup’.
We are planning to deploy about 6 servers.
I was about to create new Linux VMs by using cloning, But I have stopped to make sure that I am addressing any issues if any exists.
Any help would be useful.
