Hi Folks - new to the whole LINUX thing so please be gentle!!
I have two SLES 10.3 boxes and I need to be able to see a device hanging off one box from the other box.
I have enabled IP Forwarding on the box (Box A) with the device attached and on the other box(Box B) I have created a static route to subnet of the device.
I can’t ping the device from Box B although I can ping the interface on Box A which the device is connected to. Pinging the device from Box A is fine

Since this issue involves routing/networking, you should ask in the
networking forum where people with the appropriate expertise can assist.
To diagnose your issue, additional information is needed. Can you
provide additional details about your configuration, the network
interfaces and subnets you are using?
There are other issues involving routing that are discussed in the
networking forum. See if any of them provide a clue and if you still
require assistance, please ask in that forum and provide the additional
information I have requested.
