The system will shut down after execute “reboot” in SLES11.3

Did someone meet this kind of problems on intel Denlow platform?
Detail behavior as following;

Boot mode OS version Installation Reboot S4 S5
Legacy S11 SP3 x86 PASS FAIL#1 FAIL#2 PASS
Native UEFI S11 SP3 x64 PASS FAIL#1 PASS PASS

#1 The system will shut down after execute “reboot” under OS
#2 OS back to desktop immediate after execute “hibernate” under OS

Hi stevenwangSIT / Steven,

definitely sounds like a power management problem to me. Have you had a look at the logs in /var/log/*? Especially the “hibernation” case should be huntable, via “ls -lrt /var/log” plus eventually checking the log files in the subdirectories below. I believe that once you’ve tracked down the hibernation problem, reboot will work as well :wink:
