Time of Webinars versus recent and imminent DST changes

Good afternoon,

I’m looking forward to this new SUSE Partner Academy (the “SLE311 Partner Academy”).

I have a question regarding the scheduled time of the Weekly Webinars, related to recent and imminent DST (Daylight Saving Time) changes.

Here, in Portugal, we had our most recent DST change (from “Summer” time to “Winter” time) on last Sunday (27 Oct 2019) - https://www.timeanddate.com/time/change/portugal/lisbon - Now, where I am (Lisbon, Portugal), our current time zone has moved / changed from the WEST (Western European Summer Time) time zone - https://www.timeanddate.com/time/zones/west - time zone to WET (Western European Time) - https://www.timeanddate.com/time/zones/wet - which is the same as GMT / UTC: https://www.timeanddate.com/time/zone/portugal/lisbon

Germany, for instance, also had their most recent DST change last Sunday (27 Oct 2019) - https://www.timeanddate.com/time/change/germany/berlin – and has changed from CEST (Central European Summer Time ( Daylight Saving Time ) ) - https://www.timeanddate.com/time/zones/cest - to CET (Central European Time / European Central Time ( Standard Time ) ) - https://www.timeanddate.com/time/zones/cet

Considering that, as far as I believe, the [B]US /B will only have their DST change to “Winter” time on the 3rd of November - https://www.timeanddate.com/time/change/usa - I’m asking what will be the start time of the Wednesday Edition webinars, that will begin on the 6th of November? Will they be at 11am, GMT time?

Thanks in advance.

Yes, that is correct. The Wednesday Edition webinars will be at 11am GMT.

Good evening,

Perfect. Thank you very much for that confirmation.
