Is it safe to go from v1.1.0-dev4 to v1.1.0 without going via v1.1.0-dev5? I accidentally ended up on the dev4 release in production and want to be back on stable asap.

We don’t specifically test upgrades that skip versions (other than 1.0 -> 1.1), but it yes should work. DB schema updates are done incrementally from the revision that is found to the current one for the release you run, so it doesn’t matter what revision you start on. It wouldn’t be a bad idea to backup the database before upgrading and then you can always go back to it.
