Access to LTSS channel

Hi all,

I can’t access the SLES 11 SP4 LTSS channel, is it configuration issue or I need separate license for LTSS? Below are the licenses that we have now.

SLES X86/X86-64 1-2S/VM PR S 3Y (QTY 1)
MGR SRV X86-64 INST PR S 3Y (QTY 1)
MGR LC X86/X86-64 1-2S/VM PR S 3Y (QTY 106)

regards,
Philip

Hi and welcome to the Forum
AFAIK, yes you need a separate LTSS license in SCC to enable in SuMA.

Have you checked with ‘mgr-sync’ wether you have LTSS channels or not ?
I have noticed that LTSS channel could not be enabled from WEB, but with mgr-sync works.

I see the channel sles11-sp4-ltss-updates-x86_64 when I run mgr-sync list channels but when I try to add the channel, it says “Channel is not mirrorable: sles11-sp4-ltss-updates-x86_64”. I managed to add other channels like sless11-extras-x86_64-sles-sp4 using command line so I think my credential is working.

This should solve your problem
mgr-sync add channel sles11-sp4-ltss-updates-x86_64

Just to clarify a bit: Beginning with SLE 12 LTSS can also be added via UI as a Product/AddOn. Before it was delivered as a Channel only and thus not listed in the UI.
