Hi, I am trying to install SLES 12/SP1 (or 11/4) on a PC with AMD A4-4000 APU on a Gigabyte ULTRA DURABLE motherboard.

On the initial installation menu with “e” emac like or “c” grub command line options I try Installation.

Which brings up following messages and triggers then a system reboot.

Loading Kernel …
Loading Initial Ramdisk …

Additional 12/SP1 comes before the Installation menu with an message
"error PNG not a PNG file.
"press any key to continue

Anybody who can advice how to install?

Are you sure that your installation media are valid? If you downloaded an
ISO, did you verify the checksum before using it, and if burning media to
a DVD did verify the DVD burned correctly, preferably at the slowest speed
possible?

Indeed both my installation media were corrupted.
Installation is fine with a new media.
