Running SUSE Linux Enterprise Desktop (11). Everytime I open the File Manager, it displays the files in Icon view. Since I prefer the Detail view, I have to switch it whenever I open the file system. Is there a way to set the File Manager’s DEFAULT view mode to: Details?

Your in Konquerer or Dolphin, should be a preferences setting
somewhere. Alas I’m a GNOME user.
