Installing SLES 11 SP3 on Hyper-V, Booting from Local Disk

I’ve installed 2 LINUX servers on this Hyper-V server. The first is installed on the C drive and is 250 gigs in size. It isn’t have any problems. The 2nd server is installed on the D drive and is about 2 Terabytes in size. Every time I install this server, when it reboots after the initial install (partitioning and base install) it gets to “Booting from Local Disk” and doesn’t go any further. I’m not sure what to do to troubleshoot this issue. I can’t get this server to restart and continue with the installation. Any suggestions would be very welcome.

I tried to get this company to get VMWare, but they were insistent on using Hyper-V. Windows 2012 R2
