I submitted the new rancher cli to homebrew for inclusion but it was rejected until the repository has more stars and forks and stuff. Until then, if you want to install the new rancher cli from brew, type:
brew tap sra/rancher
brew install rancher-cli
I’ll keep it up to date and resubmit it to the core when the CLI repo [go star it!] is notorious enough. The rancher-compose tool is already in brew core.
