Replace SMT server with a new one

Hi, I’m planning to replace my old 32bit SMT server with a new 64bit one.
I’ve already installed this new server and mirrored the same repo patches that the one I want to retire.
Can somebody guide me about the procedure to let the SMT clients point to the new 64bit server? Should I unregister and rereg with clientSetup4SMT script?
